Kaziranga National Park: This is another major wildlife sanctuary in India and is located in the Assam state, in the north eastern part of the country. It got the status of a national park in the year 1968 from the Government of India.
Manas National Park: This is another important wildlife destination in India and the name of the sanctuary is derived from the name of river Manas. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: This national park is situated in Kerala and is one of the main national wildlife park in India. Here, the tourists can go for a boat trip on the backwaters of Kerala.
