Another major diversification which you will notice in India is the differences in religion beliefs. Though most of the people are Hindus, there also exist Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, etcetera. There are different types of belief in each of these religions. Only in Hindus, there are different deities which are worshiped by people. It is needless to say that there are a number of festivals, when there are so many religious beliefs. Every month, there are more then 1 festival and one astonishing factor to notice is that you will find that people from different religion celebrating the festivals belonging to one particular religion. Most of the festivals belong to the Hindu religion and for this reason, if you have a look at the calendar, you will notice that it is dominated by Hindu festivals.
Another diversification which you should be aware of while you are on a Tour to India, is the differences in climate. If you move towards North, the climate is more or less cold in most of the time of the year. Southern region is much more hot and humid. The region on the sides of coastal plains, the climate is neither cold nor hot. There is no big difference in the climatic conditions. In th eastern side, there are cold winters and hot summers.
