    • Serenity Beach – The calm and isolated Serenity Beach is situated at a driving distance of 10 minutes of the town to its north.
    • Paradise Beach – Sited within 8 kilometers of the city, next to the Cuddalore Main Road, the Paradise Beach is within easy reach of Chunnambar Resort lined by a narrow stream on one of its sides.
    • Promenade – The extensive promenade, which is 1.5 kilometers in length, offers a lot to the visitors in Pondicherry.


  • Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Sri Aurobindo Ashram, sited on rue de la Marine, is visited by the followers of Sri Aurobindo from all across the world. It was founded by Sri Aurobindo Ghose in 1926. The spiritual beliefs of the ashram dwellers embody a fusion of modern science and yoga. Public viewing is allowed here seven days a week.

  • Museums in Pondicherry – The Puducherry Museum is situated along the Saint Louis Street and houses an exclusive collection of stone and bronze sculptures that belong to the Pallava and Chola dynasties. Various specimens from Arikamedu and separate sections for fossils, shells along with other interesting artifacts are some of the many attractions here. Bharathi Memorial Museum and Ananda Ranga Pillai Museum are the other popular museums in Pondicherry.
